In the temples of Egypt, myrrh was burned at midday and kyphi at sunset. Myrrh, frankincense and black pepper curl into dark spirals, down to a base of balms and woods.

A candle for rest
Myrrh and frankincense are resins, tears the tree lets fall to close its wounds. Since antiquity they have been burned in temples to purify the air and slow the breath. Vanilla and copaiba balsam soften them; warm spices and woods ground them. A remedy to light at dusk, to settle the mind and prepare for the night.

The ritual
- 01Light it in the evening, as the light fades.
- 02Let it burn for one to two hours, until the whole surface of wax has melted.
- 03Snuff it out, then trim the wick to 5 mm before lighting it again.

What if I change my mind?
For orders delivered within the European Union, you have 14 days from delivery to let us know you wish to return a product, then 14 days to send it back, unused, complete and in its original packaging.
